Introduction

Water Science Forum (an interest group of the Royal Society of Chemistry) are holding an engagement event at the Royal Society of Edinburgh on the 13th Nov 2013. This event is open to anyone that is interested in water science and you do not need to be a member of RSC or WSF to attend. The event is intended to inform current and potential members of the many benefits and services that are available through the RSC including routes to Professional qualifications for those engaged in both industry and academia. We would also like to engage with the audience by explaining what WSF do and sharing some of our achievements. This meeting precedes the Science in Parliament event which is being held at Our Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh. Please see agenda for further details
