The rearrangement of the cluster is a ``buckling''. In this movie of the rearrangement, the pink sphere in front slides from being part of the square at the bottom to a square at the top. The two pairs of blue spheres can be observed to slide to the bottom while the two pink spheres in the back slide up. The N =7 cluster has three ways this action can occur. This movie is generated from a simulations, where the spheres are slightly soft. In the simulation Λ = 0.5893, or slightly less than the hard sphere ΛT=0.6005.
