Jacqueline Robson
Jacquie graduated from Durham University in 1998 with a BSc (Hons) in chemistry and subsequently undertook PhD studies there, graduating in 2002. Jacquie became a teacher through the Graduate Teacher Programme, which she undertook at the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle where she continued to teach for 5 years, eventually becoming Assistant Head of Chemistry. For the last 4 years, Jacquie has been Head of Chemistry at Barnard Castle School. 

As a RSC Teacher Fellow based at Durham University, Jacquie will be looking at using context and problem-based learning methods, as well as other strategies to develop students' problem-solving skills. Jacquie is also working on strategies to allow students to become more independent in their approach to learning.

Jacquie is a keen netball player, umpire and coach, as well as enjoying running and swimming.
