Materials Chemistry Division Council

Welcome to the web pages of the RSC’s Materials Chemistry Division.

The Materials Chemistry Forum was formed in the early 1990s in response to the growing importance and prominence of materials chemistry. We seek to represent the whole scope of materials chemistry within the RSC, working closely with the Journal of Materials Chemistry and liaising with external organisations to advance materials chemistry.

On these pages you can find out more about the Division’s activities. As we are constantly reviewing and developing these activities we would welcome any suggestions as to how they could be enhanced or new ideas for activities. I warmly invite you to contact me or any other member of the Division Council if you have such a contribution to make.

Finally, I hope that you will find these pages interesting and of some use, whether your interests be centred on materials chemistry or not. I also hope that if you do have interests in the area that you will consider joining the Division and its 6000 members who help to who make it a dynamic part of RSC's activities.
