AGM & Dinner - 27 April 2012

Leapark Hotel, Grangemouth

All members of the Section are encouraged to attend.  This is not an onerous duty as the AGM business will be completed by 7.30pm approximately and is then followed by a 3 course hot buffet with wine.  

Friends and partners are most welcome although, unless they are members, they may not take part in the AGM itself.  Most take the opportunity to sit and have a drink and a "blether" with others but anyone is welcome to sit in at the AGM.

The speaker is Professor Alan Crozier from Glasgow and his topic is "Coffee".

Demand for tickets is expected to be very high as over recent years members have spread the fame of the Leapark catering and the enjoyment of the after dinner talks such that for the last three years we have had to be accommodated in their large function suite.

We are keen to encourage members to consider joining the Section Committee (there are currently 2 vacancies) and also to take part in the nomination and election of Office Bearers and Committee Members.  

Nomination forms can also be downloaded and should be returned to the Secretary by Friday 30th March 2012.
