Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea - 30 September 2011

"A Taste of New Zealand" in 2007, "Hot Chile Wine" in 2008 and "Italian Wines" in 2010 were an unqualified success and by popular demand Professor John Hepworth from Lancaster returns to delight us all with a fine selection of wines supplemented by a substantial feast of appropriate Cuisine.  We are deliberately making this a bit of a mystery so can you guess from the title where John is heading this time?

Last year's venue was a great success so we are again heading for the Royal Hotel, Bridge of Allan, with a 7.00 for 7.30pm start.  On arrival you will have a selection of canapes and a sparkling wine and then starting at 7.30pm we will be treated to a three course dinner.  Professor Hepworth will introduce wine appropriate for each course, five altogether and we expect to finish around 10.00pm.

If you have not got your booking in yet then our advice is not to wait too long.

When making your travel arrangements, take into account that you will have been offered at least 6 different wines!
