The aims and objectives of the Section are primarily those set out in the "Common Objects of RSC Sections". However, considering the large, mainly rural area of the Section a further prime objective is to attempt to bring the membership, both active and retired, into a coherent grouping through a full and varied programme of technical, scientific and social events.
