Researcher Mobility Grants


The Researcher Mobility Grant scheme is currently closed. It will open again for applications in Autumn 2017.

Our Researcher Mobility Grants supports PhD students and early career researchers to undertake short to mid-term scientific visits to overseas or UK organisations.

There are several options that you can apply for:

* Our grants will contribute towards return travel to the host country, accommodation and subsistence during the visit. In addition to the amounts specified, applicants may also request supporting funding for their host organisation which may include provision for bench fees and administrative support costs (eg. visa application, insurance).

** Refers to applicants currently working or holding a contract in the UK and Republic of Ireland or overseas regardless of nationality.

Assessment procedure

All applications are assessed by the Researcher Mobility Grant Working Group who have oversight of the entire grant scheme. The Group is comprised of senior academics and industrial representatives from our Divisions.
