European Commission Green Paper

EU Green Paper
In February 2011 the European Commission presented a Green Paper which proposed major changes to EU research and innovation funding. 

The aims of these changes include making participation easier, increasing the scientific and economic impact of funding and providing better value for money. This call for evidence seeks to gather responses to the suggested changes and other suggestions for the future of EU funding.

20 May 2011 - Simplification should be the main aim of the common framework. The current levels of bureaucracy at all stages in the funding process deter many from becoming involved.
