Disclosure of Climate Data from the Climatic Research Unit
10 February 2010
The unauthorised disclosure of climate data from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in November 2009 had the potential to damage the reputation of scientific research and affect the public's confidence in science.
This inquiry questioned whether the integrity of science had been called into question as a result of these events and whether the scope of the Independent Review by UEA was considered adequate.
The RSC welcomed this chance to support science and the integrity of good research.
