Consultation on Lifting Barriers to Women in STEM: A Strategy for Scotland

In July 2011 a Working Group of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, led by Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell, launched a call for evidence relating to the barriers faced by women working in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics careers in Scotland.
This response draws together evidence from a number of RSC reports and surveys carried out since the late 1990s.
