The Economic Benefits of Higher Education Qualifications

This report carried out by PricewaterhouseCoopers on behalf of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Institute of Physics, sets out the returns to both an individual studying for a degree and to the Exchequer. The findings show that a degree is profitable to both the individual and to the state, and, that returns for chemistry and physics graduates are above average for both.
