ACS/RSC's Sustainability Alliance
The American Chemical Society/Royal Society of Chemistry sustainability alliance acknowledges that the challenges of sustainability won't be solved by a single organisation or country. International collaboration is needed to move our world toward a sustainable future.
Elements of the ACS/RSC partnership include:
- Developing a guide to help people understand the basic chemistry behind our global challenges and potential solutions
- Jointly promoting scientific seminars in the US and UK
- Collaborating to train chemists to speak (in non-technical terms) about the world's sustainability challenges
