15 – 16 June, Intercontinental London - The O2

This is Chemistry Means Business.
Event highlights
The Emerging Technologies Competition 2016
The Emerging Technologies Competition is our annual innovation competition, providing support for disruptive ideas in health & wellbeing, food & water, energy & environment and materials.
The competition is backed by multinational companies including GlaxoSmithKline, Croda, Procter & Gamble, AstraZeneca, GE Healthcare and Schlumberger. They provide a tailored package of ongoing support and guidance to the winners of each of the competition categories.
The second and final stage of the competition is one of the pillars of Chemistry Means Business 2016. The forty shortlisted entrants will pitch their ideas to expert panels, and we’ll reveal the winners as part of our evening celebrations on the 15 June.

Chemistry Means Business awards night
Join us for a glittering celebration as Chemistry Means Business delegates meet to enjoy good food, build new connections, discover the winners of the Emerging Technologies Competition and see who we’re recognising through our annual Industry and Technology Awards.
For over 140 years, we’ve been acknowledging and celebrating talented groups and individuals across the scientific community with our prizes and awards programme. Our eight industry-specific awards recognise the people who are improving, transforming and breaking new ground in the chemical sciences industry.
Our 2015 awards night was hosted by comedian, writer and presenter Sandi Toksvig OBE. We’ll be revealing this year’s host early in 2016…

The conference
Be the first to hear about cutting-edge technologies, gather information on trends in industry and leave with knowledge that will strengthen your business.
In the past, we’ve had big names including serial entrepreneur Sherry Coutu CBE and BBC presenter Mark Miodownik sharing their experiences as part of the series of networking sessions, workshops and talks that form day two of Chemistry Means Business.
Our 2016 line-up will be just as impressive.
The exhibition
If you'd like to promote your company to those attending, there's a chance to exhibit on Day Two of Chemistry Means Business. The exhibition will be split into five streams; health & wellbeing, food & water, energy & environment, materials, and business support. Contact our team to discuss exhibitor packages.
