Introduction

The Department of Chemistry at the National University of Singapore (NUS) will be hosting the 9th Singapore International Chemical Conference (SICC-9) on 11-14 December 2016. This conference would be the ninth in the series of conferences and will focus on chemistry for functional materials:

Symposium 1: Surface Chemistry and Catalysis
Symposium 2: Photo- and Electro-catalysis
Symposium 3: Light-Young Scientist Forum-Singapore: When Light meets Chemistry
Symposium 4: Energy Storage Materials, Characterization and Understanding
Symposium 5: Advanced Porous Materials for Gas Capture and Catalysis
