VIII European Workshop in Drug Synthesis

Introduction
The VIII Edition of the EWDSy will be held in Certosa di Pontignano (Siena, Italy) on 18th-22nd May 2020. The EWDSy is a biennal event which brings together experts in synthetic chemistry and drug synthesis from all the world. This edition is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Maurizio Botta, former Editor of ACS Med. Chem. Lett., who led the EWDSy since its first Edition in 2006.The aim of the EWDSy is to provide a fertile ground for chemists from academia and industry to share and exchange knowledge. In this Edition, the main topics covered by lectures will  include anticancer drug discovery, bioconjugation and antibody-drug conjugates, (bio)catalysis and synthetic methodologies in medicinal chemistry, green & sustainable approaches in medicinal chemistry. Oral and poster contributions from other areas of medicinal and organic chemistry are also welcome.
