The event will consist of:

• an overview of the Degree Apprenticeship
• a networking lunch
• and a Q&A session with some of our current apprentices and employers.

The Apprenticeship focuses on the fundamental knowledge, skills and behaviours to make an impact in a number of chemistry-based roles.

The programme has been developed with employers and enables successful apprentices to apply for Registered Scientist (RSci) status from the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Manchester Met has been successfully delivering programmes for the chemical science industry since 2011, and apprenticeship programmes since 2013. Working in close collaboration with employers throughout 2018, we redeveloped our provision to align with the new Laboratory Scientist Degree Apprenticeship standard and launched our new four-year programme.
