Introduction
The fashion industry is the second largest polluting industry on the Earth, behind the oil industry. With the ongoing "fast fashion" amrket, wehre garments are  worn minimally before disposal, a growing amount of textile waste is being created in society, giving rise to a need for development of infrastructure to tackle to rising problem. This webinar, provided by the Royal Society of Chemistry's Applied Materials Chemistry Group, intends to discuss the growing textiles problem, elaborate upon the challenges posed by the textiles market, and discuss how researchers in the chemical sciences can contribute towards solving this emerging societal issue.
