Commonwealth Chemistry Posters - Building the Partnership

25 - 27 August 2020, United Kingdom

This event is by invitation only

Introduction
***Poster prize winners***
The poster prize judges had the very difficult job of selecting winners from such a large number of high-quality posters. They were extremely impressed by the scientific quality of all the posters, the inventiveness and creativity with which they were designed, and the way in which the presenters linked their research to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The poster prize winners are listed here, and we would like to congratulate them as well as everyone who presented – without your enthusiastic participation the event would not have been the success that it was.

--------

A virtual poster event, to maintain and build on the momentum and enthusiasm generated by the Congress, and bring the Commonwealth Chemistry community together in a virtual environment before we all meet in person next year.

The event will take place over a 48 hour window spanning three days between 25-27 August hosted on a dedicated poster session platform iPosterSessions, where you will be able to view the posters and network.

Poster presenters will be online with their posters during specific times so that you will be able to visit, view the poster, ask questions and network. Questions can be asked via a text chat function and the presenter will be able to answer verbally or via the chat function.

Due to the fact that the poster presenters will be from all corners of the Commonwealth in different time zones we have grouped countries into three different regions:

Region 1: Caribbean and Americas
Region 2: Africa and Europe
Region 3: Asia and Pacific

By arranging the countries in this fashion two regions will be able to meet on the platform at the same time and present and view each other’s posters. Times have been identified that are as reasonable as possible to accommodate all regions meeting with each other.

Please note that the times listed here are all GMT/UTC time zone.

Viewing of posters from Region 1 (Caribbean and Americas)
25 August 17:00-19:00 GMT/UTC
AND 26 August 01:00-03:00 GMT/UTC

Viewing of posters from Region 2 (Africa and Europe)

AND 26 August 17:00-19:00 GMT/UTC
