Skills, the economy and Chartered Chemist: Online roundtable discussion with question and answer session

20 January 2021 10:00-12:00, United Kingdom

Introduction
In 2021 we are celebrating the launch of our updated Chartered Chemist (CChem) award. This online event is the focus of our launch and will be a roundtable discussion about skills development and recognition in the chemical sciences, followed by a question and answer session.

Join us to participate in our roundtable discussion that will draw on the Royal Society of Chemistry's recent report into the scale and skills of the UK’s chemistry-using workforce, and its substantial contribution to the UK economy, 'Chemistry’s Contribution: Workforce trends and economic impact'. We will explore how the skills landscape is changing, and how skills development can be supported through the award of Chartered Chemist. Questions to the panel will be invited from the floor.

After the roundtable discussion, you will have a chance to find out more about how CChem has been updated and explore ways of supporting professional development for your organisation.
