Introduction

The conference will bring together leading scientists and physicians from a selection of the most promising fields of molecular medicine. With two eminent keynote lecturers and five plenary sessions featuring 22 internationally renowned speakers, as well as poster sessions and a number of short talks by promising young researchers, the conference will cover a broad selection of topics. These include infectious and cardiovascular diseases, inflammation, stem cells, miRNAs as well as genetic and epigenetic causes in human diseases. The conference offers the unique opportunity to interact with the speakers, members of the EMBO Molecular Medicine editorial board and conference delegates.
