Introduction

This weekend event at Alnwick Gardens, Alnwick provides the opportunity to explore some of the chemistry behind the plant poisons both within The Poison Garden, and the wider surroungs within. We will have activities for all ages, based in The Pavilion, within Alnwick Gardens. The activities, supervised by RSC member volunteers, will include  the chemistry of smells, paper chromatography, a sensory garden, word search, POison Garden quiz, the influence of drugs on your senses, coluring sheets as well as informal mini-presentations on some of the plants and their poisons.
