Global Women Breakfast Meeting

14 February 2023 09:00-11:00, Ile-Ife, Nigeria

This event is by invitation only

This year's event, which typically brings together women in the field of chemistry, including academic staff, technical staff, and postgraduate students, is expected to have around 25 attendees. The event will consist of two sessions. The first session will be a roundtable discussion on the topic of "Breaking Barriers in Science", and in the second session, we will have a guest speaker, Professor S. M. Odeyinka, speak on "Building Professional Networks". The goal of this event is not only to foster camaraderie among women in chemistry, but also to bridge the gap between older and younger generations. It provides an opportunity for attendees to get to know each other, provide support and inspiration, and offer mentorship for those pursuing higher degrees.
