Introduction

This event, in its seventh year, is a joint SCI/RSC/IChemI event designed to incorporate
research from both academia and industry. The one-day conference aims to bring together
those who have varied interests in drug discovery and development and a common interest
in synthesis. Usually held in Cork, the event has this year moved to Dublin to honour
Dublin City of Science 2012.
