Introduction
Dr Dunn will present a short history of the science behind 'Global Warming', including the potential impact of this on disease proliferation. He will then go on to describe the invention of a novel, exciting 'bio-catalytic process' to manufacture the medicine pregabalin, an important treatment for the relief of neuropathic pain which achieved sales of over $3 billion in 2010. This manufacturing process will reduce CO2 emissions by more than 3 million tonnes!
