What chemistry happens when meteorites are exposed to hot, acid pools exactly the types of environment common to sub-glacial volcanic Iceland? This is the story of a scientific expedition to the remote Kverkfjoll mountain region in the northern-most slopes of the Vatnajoküll glacier, Iceland.
