Delays alternating with nutation for tailored excitation

Definition: A pulse sequence used to selectively excite a frequency range by applying a series of very short pulses to manipulate, or nutate, the magnetisation vectors of the desired spins, interspersed with delays which cause the off-resonance magnetisation to receive a different phase. For the pulse see J. Magn. Reson., (1978), 29, pg 433.
