Precompetitive Knowledge Transfer Workshops
Aligned with the RSC's focus on Health in Chemistry for Tomorrow's World, the UK pharmaceutical industry has highlighted a need to find ways to maintain a vibrant, productive and globally competitive medicinal chemistry community in the UK/EU. In response to this, the RSC has designed a series of workshops aimed at capitalising on the unique opportunities of the UK/EU pharmaceutical industry with respect to:
- Recruitment and retention of world-class scientists and improving the quality of training and CPD
- Cross-pharma collaboration fostering an environment where there is free and constructive exchange of knowledge across the sector
- Use of networks and geographical proximity to develop collaborations and links with academia to facilitate knowledge transfer
