Member Subscription Rates
Membership subscription runs from January to December each year. A payment to cover the first year's subscription must be enclosed with completed application forms. Payments will be banked on receipt to enable application to be processed.
Subscription rates for 2014

Reduced subscriptions are available to:
- Full time postgraduate students (including PGCE students) - £18
- Low income members with an income below £25,000 per annum - Fellow £65, Member £60, Associate/Affiliate £36
- Retired members - Fellow £65, Member £60, Associate/Affiliate £36
Chartered status (CChem) registration fee for 2014 is £25 (application fee is £50).
Registered designations (RSci/RSciTech) registration fee for 2014 is £15.

For those not qualified for any other category but who have an interest in the chemical sciences and its advancement. The subscription rate for 2014 is £72.
Undergraduate students studying for a degree level qualification in the chemical sciences can join at a reduced subscription rate of £18.
Recent graduates can apply to become an Associate Member of the RSC. The subscription rate for 2014 is £72, a reduced rate of £18 is available for postgrads.
The main category of membership, principally for graduates in the chemical sciences with at least three years postgraduate experience. The subscription rate for 2014 is £120.
The senior category of membership. Open to those with substantial career progression in promoting the advancement of chemical science. The subscription rate for 2014 is £130.
