Assistant Editor

Joanne grew up in Banchory, Scotland.  After receiving a MChem in Chemistry with Industrial Experience from the University of Edinburgh, she spent two and a half years working for Merck, Sharp and Dohme as a medicinal chemist specialising in neuroscience research.  She joined the RSC as a trainee Assistant Editor on Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics and Faraday Discussions in 2006.  Joanne now works as Assistant Editor on ChemComm and Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry and is Editor of Chemical Technology.  In her spare time, Joanne enjoys running, karate and cooking.
