Xi Zhang

Xi Zhang received his MS and Ph.D in polymer chemistry and physics at Jilin University. During his Ph.D study, he spent more than one year at University of Mainz, Germany, as a joint-training Ph.D student. He joined the Key Lab of Supramolecular Structure and Materials, Jilin University since 1992, as a lecturer and was then promoted to be full professor in 1994. He moved to Tsinghua University in late 2003. His main scientific interests are in the areas of supramolecular assembly and polymer thin films, and single molecule force spectroscopy of polymers.
