CrystEngComm is proud to sponsor Dr Hiroshi Yamamoto's lecture during the Fall 2009 ACS National Meeting.  Dr Yamamoto's lecture, 'Halogen-bonded supramolecular assembly in molecular conductors' will be given at 3.20 pm, Sunday 16 August, during the Symposium 'Halogen Bonding: A World Parallel to Hydrogen Bonding', organised by Pierangelo Metrangolo and Giuseppe Resnati.

The Symposium brings together researchers from all areas of the chemical sciences, who have an interest in the understanding and utilisation of halogen bonding, and how these interactions can be used as complementary interactions to other interactions such as hydrogen bonding.
