Young Members Mixer meeting

27 October 2014, Chatham Maritime, United Kingdom

Introduction
Come and find out about how silver has shaped the way we view the world, how it can keep us free from infection, how it can make us look glamorous (or not if used incorrectly), how our mobile phones won't work without it, and many other of its unique properties. Trevor has designed or been involved in bringing to market most of the Ilford photographic film range. Several of Trevor's products have won major international awards. Today he is working on novel technologies, most of which involve exploiting the unique properties of silver as a metal or as a salt.

This event is a great networking opportunity for young scientists in Kent, and is open to anyone to attend. As a scientist, establishing links with colleagues and external collaborators is essential to your career success. The RSC Kent Local Section is pleased to offer you a chance to meet other scientists in your local area. Drinks and nibbles will be served after the lecture
