Introduction

The conference will aim to communicate recent advances in the aquatic biodiversity: assessment, monitoring, conservation and management, aquatic habitats - biodiversity interrelations, food web interactions and aquatic productivity, ecologic reconstruction and the biodiversity, research methods.
Sibiu/Transylvania/Romania/European Union was designed following the vote of the European Union Ministries of Culture Council to be the European Capital of Culture in 2007 - http://www.sibiu2007.ro/index_en.php
The official language of "Aquatic Biodiversity International Conference” is English.
