Microfluidics Congress: USA

11 - 12 July 2016, Philadelphia, United States

Introduction
Microfluidics is a rapidly developing area of research, and scientists are continually discovering the wide range of possibilities the technology can provide. At the intersection of engineering, physics, chemistry, nanotechnology, and biotechnology, microfluidics is revolutionizing the way patients are diagnosed, monitored and treated, and is unlocking the potential for reduced reagent consumption and thus, cost.

Attracting experts working in all areas of microfluidics, the conference will examine the latest developments in the technologies and techniques being used for progressing medical research, as well as the challenges and future of microfluidics. Should you be an expert in developing microfluidics technologies, or a scientist using microfluidics to further medical research, the conference will be an excellent opportunity to learn, share, discuss and engage with the most current microfluidics research and technology. During the two-day conference, there will be networking breaks to promote interaction with your peers, expert led case study presentations, a dynamic exhibition room filled with technology providers showcasing their technologies and solutions, and interactive Q&A panel discussions examining key issues.

Some of the topics to be covered:
  • Point-of-care diagnostics
  • Organ-on-a-chip
  • Paper-based microfluidics
  • Circulating tumor cells
  • Tissue engineering
  • Single-cell analysis
