Introduction
Who is your favourite heroine of science?

The University of Reading invite you to join an exciting event celebrating the work of female scientists.

We invite you to submit a team of up to 4 students from your school or college (Year 11/12) to present a 10 minute talk on the work of a female scientist of your choice. University staff/students will also be presenting on current research at the University of Reading.

You are welcome to bring up to 5 other students to support your team and listen to the presentations if you wish. These attendees may also like to submit an A4 poster (each) on their favourite heroine. These will be displayed and available to view during the refreshment period.

A prize will be awarded for the best presentation and the best poster.

Arrival: 12.45pm for 1pm start
Presentations: 1-3.30pm followed by prize giving in the Chemistry Department Lecture Theatre
Refreshments available mid-way through
Departure: by 4pm

Spaces are limited to six teams presenting and will be filled on a first come, first served basis so book early to avoid disappointment!
