Introduction
Pottery about Chemistry is a project exploring the chemistry behind the essential elements of making and decorating pots. Through hands-on workshops you will explore the Chemistry of Clay and Glazes, investigate how ceramic materials have changed the world, and create your own little bit of the Periodic Table.

Pottery about Chemistry is held in the Chemistry laboratories at Keele University, an ideal place to investigate the exciting science of ceramics.

The event is suitable for 11 years and older. Under 16s should be accompanied by an adult.
