LC-MS - A Hands on Approach - Kenya (April 2024)

8 - 12 April 2024, Nairobi, Kenya

Introduction
The Pan Africa Chemistry Network was set up by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) to advance the chemical sciences across Africa by building a self-sustaining science base. This expanded analytical science training programme will develop your practical analytical techniques to solve local challenges and contribute to global scientific knowledge.

Applications are invited for the above training course; we welcome applications from researchers, lecturers, technicians, MSc students and PhD students in the chemical sciences from universities and research institutions across Africa.

This training course will cover the practical aspects of Liquid Chromatography, method development, quantitative analysis and spectral interpretation of LC-MS.

Applications

Places on this course are limited to 15 delegates, with a deadline of January 31 2024. The course is open to applicants from across Africa.
Due to a high volume of applications, please take the time to thoughtfully answer the application form questions, as delegate selection will depend on the information provided.

Applicants are encouraged to seek support from their institution/sponsor for covering their travel costs to attend the course. Some spaces will be reserved for applicants who can cover their own travel costs and meet the selection criteria below. For those unable to cover their own travel costs but who meet the selection criteria, the RSC/PACN will support their attendance. Additionally, places will be reserved for applicants who are RSC members and who meet the selection criteria.

RSC/PACN will cover accommodation, food, and course materials.

Before applying, you are responsible for checking whether there are any COVID-19 related travel restrictions in your country.

Delegates who have attended a previous PACN LC-MS course are not eligible to attend again because this is a repeat of that course.
