Are you nervous about presenting in front of others, and missing out on opportunities as a result?

Have you wondered what makes some speakers more impactful than others?

Do you want to know some frameworks to use to speak confidently?

Public speaking through presentations, talks and webinars, offers professionals numerous avenues to build awareness of their work, business or company. It is additionally a major career enhancing skill and provides opportunities to raise one’s profile and be seen as a leader and specialist in their field.

During this interactive one-day masterclass, you will learn the key ingredients needed to prepare and deliver impactful speeches in any situation. We will begin by demystifying public speaking, and build up your confidence through impromptu speaking games and exercises. Our attention will then turn towards the key dimensions of public speaking, yourself as speaker, the topic you are speaking on, and the audience who is listening to you. Following on from this, you will learn how to best approach speech preparation and the formula which makes some speeches more impactful than others. The theoretical part of the course will finish off by covering speech delivery techniques used by professional speakers.

In the second part of the course, participants will deliver short presentations on a subject of their choice, prepared using the techniques learnt earlier. Every speaker will receive feedback from the trainer, their peers and if they wish from an AI tool as well. You will additionally have many opportunities to practice the skills you’ll be learning during the impromptu speaking activities too.

Participants are invited to shape the contents of this course to meet their specific needs by answering questions in a pre course survey.
