Inspirational Member and Committee Awards
These awards only recognises activities undertaken under the auspices of our member-led networks (normally Local Sections, Interest Groups, Division Regions and Early Career Network).
Inspirational Member Award
To recognise the contribution of individual members who, through our member networks, have been instrumental in introducing and driving new ideas and approaches to support the full breadth of our community.
- Self-nominations will not be accepted for this award.
Inspirational Committee Award
To recognise member networks committees that have initiated novel activities or approaches in order to engage or provide services for their communities. This should include initiatives to make the committee or events more inclusive to engage new members, an activity which has had a significant demonstrable impact in the community or other novel/significant activity which demonstrably supports our wider strategy.
- Nominations from members of the nominated committee are permitted for this award.
For consideration in 2020, nominations must be by completion of the appropriate nomination form and received by 5pm (UK Time) 15 January 2020.

For revitalising the Aberdeen and North Scotland Local Section of the Royal Society of Chemistry and improving the engagement and activities available to members of their community.
Cumbria Local Section committee
For developing their programme of events to provide engagement opportunities for the full breadth of their community by embracing the diversity of their membership and seeking out new communication channels and collaborations.
Toxicology Group committee
For the production and promotion of the Faces of Toxicology films highlighting the diversity of scientists and career opportunities in the toxicology community.
