Introduction
This is a training session for members in Cambridge on 2 July 2019 wanting to be a mentor as part of our award-winning scheme.

Why be a mentor?
Mentoring is valuable to both mentees and mentors. Mentors find the experience of helping another member rewarding as they help them to grow and 'address their own challenges, considering their relationships at work and thinking of the future'.

The benefits of mentoring
  • Join our scheme to help other members and:gain experience of supporting others in achieving their personal and career goals
  • pursue personal and professional development
  • improve relationships with colleagues and performance in your current role
  • give back to the chemical community
“Mentoring is a great idea, and I have surprised myself about how challenging it can be and also rewarding when a suggestion I have made has had a positive impact.” – current mentor
