This is venue hire with a difference.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we invest all profits from your room hire into advancing the excellence of chemical sciences. So as well as being an unforgettable occasion, your event will also support future scientific research and discovery.
Burlington House is located in London's Piccadilly and is a five-minute walk from Green Park London Underground station. Since 1857, this historic building has been the Royal Society of Chemistry’s London residence. In 2010, we opened our doors as a venue for weddings, conferences, and private functions, offering a distinctly different opportunity for those looking for a unique and convenient setting for events.
We’ve hosted seminars and symposia, award ceremonies, promotional events, and more. With many successful events behind them, our Venue team are well established, providing everything you need to make an impression.

Berkeley Group Christmas Dinner
Can’t thank you and the team enough for such an amazing evening – everyone was so complimentary about the venue, food and drink, and service and had a great time. Please do pass on our thanks again to the team for a wonderful evening. And personally I really appreciated everyone’s flexibility and willingness to pitch in and help on the night, as soon as the evening started I was able to relax and enjoy myself safe in the knowledge that you all had everything covered.
Liz Dawson, Berkeley Group
Informatics Ventures enjoyed working with the team at the venue. Their professional approach coupled with a great understanding of the logistics required for event management has helped contribute to an excellent working relationship. We are delighted with the level of assistance and also the full and in depth event brief meeting that they participate in, unobtrusively merging as part of our team.
Ronnie Johnston, Informatic Ventures
A massive thank you to the team for the brilliant hospitality given to us at our event. Many of our guests were astounded at the level of warmth and professionalism that they experienced. There were many remarks as well about the amazing food, particularly the serving of the canapés in the branded tins.

Next Generation Materials for Solar Photovoltaics
The whole event proceeded without a hitch and this was clearly due in good part to your assistance. I received an overwhelming amount of feedback from delegates saying that it was a well organised event at a great location. Many commented on the quality of the food and someone stated that it was the best food of any institute he had visited in London...
Nigel Mason, PV Consulting Ltd.
Your staff were friendly, smart, efficient and flexible to the needs of the guests. They are a tribute to your managers. The library and the anti-room are a superb venue and the tables were beautifully decorated. The food was excellent and well served. The quality of the lamb was amazing, and everyone enjoyed the little surprise that came with the dessert. All our guests have remarked how much they enjoyed the whole event, so once again thanks to you all.
