RSC Recognition Fund

The RSC Recognition Fund is a special trust for the purposes of advancing the science of chemistry and its application for the public benefit by recognising excellence through the provision of awards, prizes and other means. It was registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales in 2021 as a linked charity of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

A donation to the RSC Recognition Fund offers new donors the option to make a gift directly to our recognition activities to celebrate, incentivise and support excellence in chemistry and its applications.

As our discipline and the world around us evolve, we will continue to recognise the many types of excellence that are important for chemistry to benefit society today and tomorrow.

Created by combining thirty historical awards funds as part of the modernisation of RSC Recognition Programmes, the fund is vital to our programmes stemming back across more than 150 years of RSC recognition and celebration of excellence in the chemical sciences.

The purposes of the RSC Recognition Fund continue the spirit of historical gifts made to the RSC and for which the RSC is deeply grateful:
