The Royal Society of Chemistry at Burlington House has been awarded the Bronze Award for Best Historic Venue in this year’s London Venue & Catering Awards 2023.
The awards, produced by GNC Events, were celebrated at Friday’s ceremony, hosted at City Central at the HAC.
Presented to an audience of 450 industry professionals, including our own events team, the award had been judged independently by a panel of esteemed experts with experience in either in the management of venues or the organisation of b2b events at venues.
On winning the Bronze Award, our venue manager, Jess Gallagher said: “We are thrilled to be recognised among some of the most iconic historic venues in London. This is a brilliant accolade that we’re really proud of, particularly as we’re not the biggest or grandest venue in the city, but our rich history and unique offering make for a very special venue that hosts lots of happy and returning clients from all industries.
“The atmosphere at the ceremony was great, and to be surrounded by excellence from all corners of the industry made for a fitting celebration of what has overall been a very positive year as we continue to recover from a very difficult period.”
Striking the balance between ensuring the best quality offerings for our clients while retaining the building's unique historic charm has always been a challenge we continue to embrace. Our deep history is something that we have always believed helps separate us from other London venues and is also one of the many reasons so many of our clients return to us for repeat events.
Congratulations to all the winners.
