Consultation response for the Review of post-16 qualifications at level 3: second stage

As part of the Department for Education’s review of post-16 qualifications at level 3, we responded to a consultation seeking views on the proposals for the groups of qualifications that would continue to be funded alongside A-levels and T-levels.
We commented on the importance of applied science qualifications such as BTECs, ensuring equity of participation in the sciences, progression opportunities into the sciences and the importance of serving the needs of SEND students.
