RSC Boards and Committees
Governance bodies reporting to Council
To act on behalf of Council to ensure that the RSC has in place adequate financial and other systems to fulfil its statutory obligations
This Committee investigates the conduct of any member of the RSC in accordance with the requirements of the By- laws and the Regulations made by the Council
To ensure that the RSC's financial resources are being deployed cost effectively in accordance with priorities set by Council as expressed in the Strategic Plan
Membership and Qualifications Board
To agree with Council strategy and budgets for membership qualifications, admission and recruitment, advancement of professional practice, member networking and Benevolent Fund
To advise on best use of the skills available within the membership and where appropriate from outside the membership, through appointments and elections to Council and committees
Performance Management and Remuneration Committee
To provide general direction to the Chief Executive on people management issues and to set objectives for the Chief Executive
The Publishing Board oversees the RSC's publishing activities and products, including joint ventures with other publishers and organisations.
Science, Education and Industry Board
To agree with Council strategy and budgets relating to the application of the chemical sciences, learning and teaching of the chemical sciences and industry and business policies
