Registered Scientist and Registered Science Technician
The RSC have recently secured a pilot licence from the Science Council to award two new designations: Registered Scientist (RSci) and Registered Science Technician (RSciTech).
A large range of employees working in the chemical science industries and related professions will be eligible for these new registers. If you are in a Technician role, you will be eligible to apply for one of the registers.
How to apply
In order to join the RSci or RSciTech registers through us, you will need to have RSC membership. You may find that your employer will pay for membership of one professional body.
If you do not yet hold RSC membership you can apply online now by following the link. If you prefer not to apply online, you can download a PDF copy of the form and send by post or contact the Membership Department and an application form will be sent by post.
When you are ready to submit an application to RSci or RSciTech download the relevant guidelines and application form below.
