Introduction

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a family of nanoporous materials, the recent development of which has made a significant impact on mainstream research in the areas of materials science and coordination chemistry. This MOF2014 conference, covering all of the related areas of MOF chemistry and other developing porous materials, will benefit not only specialists in the field but also scientists in other areas, stimulating an exchange of new ideas and leading participating students toward future breakthroughs.
