Introduction

Starting in 1990 and 1996, respectively, the International Symposium for Chinese Organic Chemists (ISCOC) and the International Symposium for Chinese Inorganic Chemists (ISCIC) took place every other year and have become an important platform for bringing together worldwide Chinese chemists to exchange their scientific findings, cultivate mutual understandings, and foster possible collaborations.
