Introduction
The BCPC Congress 2019 is set to provide a stimulating and informative forum, bringing together participants and speakers from industry, Government and associations. Entitled “Understanding the demands and opportunities of a “Green Brexit” – how do we deliver food production alongside environmental enhancement?” this conference is sure get the audience engaged in understanding the agriculture and regulatory environment more.

Returning to the Hilton Brighton Metropole (UK) on 19-20 November 2019, this year’s event will focus on:
  • Topics relating to how intensification of food production can be reconciled with environmental enhancement,
  • Unearth the many issues resulting from the UK Government’s agricultural policy framework, regardless of the UK’s future relationship with the EU, in which farmers will be paid to deliver biodiversity, cultural landscapes, high quality water, air and soil rather than food,
  • Discuss the science, technology and policy issues relating to the national debate on how to support UK farming and food production whilst meeting the highest environmental and safety standards will be explored in a series of sessions.
